We have a pet-friendly version of almost every type of holiday accommodation, so please let us know when booking whether your pet is coming along. Maximum 2 pets per pet-friendly accommodation, but in our holiday homes dogs are allowed to stay 3 pets.

Our holiday homes are not directly adapted for disabled people, there are some holiday homes ( numbers 20, 38, 59 and 77) in which the downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The holiday homes Sunshower there is also a walk-in shower.

Our country houses 119 and 120 have more space for the disabled and have a walk-in shower. Our villa No 118, is not suitable for disabled people, here there is a staircase to the front door and a height difference between kitchen and living room.

All our accommodation is smoke-free, so we ask you not to smoke inside and to clean up cigarettes outside

You can use WiFi throughout our park, which is completely free of charge. At the moment, we still work with a login code. If you do not use the internet for 15 minutes, you will have to log in again. This is to ensure that when you use it, it is of good quality.

All our accommodations have a Senseo and a coffee machine. In addition, our luxury holiday homes, holiday homes sunshower and our meadow studio have a Nespresso machine.

All our holiday homes and villas have a cot and a highchair. A playpen is also available in the holiday home kids. This holiday home is most ideal for families. The chalets do not have a cot or highchair. The cot is difficult to place here.

All our holiday and country houses have a combi-microwave. In our chalets ther's not a combi-microwave, there is a microwave.

In certain periods in the low season, you can arrive daily: you can find these dates in our search & book module. Generally, we have fixed arrival days on Mondays and Fridays: but should occupancy allow, we can be contacted shortly before arrival. Minimum stay is two nights.

Sometimes it is possible to extend your reservation before or during your stay. This is only possible if there is no follow-up reservation on your holiday home and there is still sufficient availability. You can contact us by phone at 033-277 77 77 for this purpose.

On your arrival day, you can move into your accommodation from 4 p.m. onwards, but of course you are welcome to visit the park earlier to use our facilities or just to explore the surroundings.

Check out is before 10.30 am on the day of departure.

If you would like to stay at Landgoed Ruwinkel for longer than three weeks, please contact us. By email, whatsapp or phone 033 277 7777.

In case of cancellation, you will pay a fee to Landgoed Ruwinkel. This amounts to:
- for cancellation more than three months before the commencement date, 15 % of the agreed price;
- in the event of cancellation between three and two months before the commencement date, 50% of the agreed price;
- in case of cancellation within two to one months before the commencement date, 75% of the agreed price;
- in case of cancellation within one month before the commencement date, 90% of the agreed price;
- in case of cancellation on the day of the commencement date, 100 % of the agreed price.

The fee will be refunded proportionately, after deduction of administration costs, if the place is reserved by a third party on your recommendation and with the written consent of Landgoed Ruwinkel, for the same period or part thereof.

Final cleaning and energy costs are included in the rent.

Not included are items that depend on the number of persons such as linen package per person, reservation costs per individual reservation and tourist tax levied by the municipality of Scherpenzeel per person per night.

In the Ru-shop at reception, we sell butter, farm cheese and free-range eggs, as well as coffee, tea, orange juice, sweets, biscuits, nuts, regional honey and soft drinks, in addition to various admission tickets to tourist attractions and souvenirs. For groceries, visit the Emte in Renswoude or the Jumbo or Aldi in Scherpenzeel.

At Landgoed Ruwinkel, you can hire men's, women's and children's bicycles but we also have electric bicycles available.

The Gelderse Vallei is a wonderful place to cycle. Meadows with cows and nature alternate. From 15 April to 15 October, you can take the bicycle boat in Amersfoort, which sails through the beautiful Eemland region so that you can cycle back through the countryside from the disembarkation point of your choice.

At all accommodation you can park 1 car in front of the accommodation. At the country houses, two cars can be parked. For additional cars, there is a central car park. Landgoed Ruwinkel is a small-scale park, so it is never a far walk to the car.

Every day you can use our clear and indoor swimming pool. There is also a separate children's pool here for the little ones. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the early morning you can join in with aqua fitness! Have a good workout to pleasant music. After this good start, you can relax with a cup of coffee in the brasserie, which is included in the price.

Regular opening hours: Daily from 10:00 to 17:00.
On Monday, Friday evenings also from 19:00 to 21:00
Nearby, you can swim in the public swimming pool in Scherpenzeel de Willaer or in the fantastically beautiful Henshotermeer lake in Woudenberg.

You can play tennis. Out in the open on the all-weather tennis court. You can bring your own rackets and tennis balls, but they are also available for hire at the park! The tennis court can be rented by the hour.

Who will manage to hit a hole-in-one? On our 18-hole farmers' mini golf course, you can play to your heart's content! Who will be the winner? Buy your admission ticket at reception.

You can play basketball on our small sports field.

For enthusiasts, an outdoor table tennis table is available for use.

At the park, children can have a great time in our playground, where you will find various pieces of play equipment.

In our small animal pasture you can meet our goats, piglets, sheep, chickens, chickens and turkeys. Near the meadow is a special animal feeder for a balanced diet for our furry and feathered farm friends.

For enthusiasts, an outdoor table tennis table is available for use.

There is also a tennis court and mini-golf with farm animals. Super fun go-karts are available for rent.

Feast and relish on Landgoed Ruwinkel! With no fewer than four catering outlets, you can eat to your heart's content. Have breakfast and lunch in our Bread & Breakfast with brand-fresh bread from Scherpenzeel baker Frentz. Enjoy the most delicious Piri Piri chicken or one of the other delicious dishes at family restaurant Juffrouw Tok. You can eat a traditional Dutch pancake (the thickest!) at pancake farm Grietje. Locally produced snacks can be eaten or fetched at our Friterie. Enjoy your meal!

The big brother of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, whose attractions include the white bicycle plan, the famous Kröller-Müller museum with all its valuable art treasures. Certainly also worth your visit is the lesser-visited Museonder: the world's first underground museum in which you follow the soil layer by layer all the way to the centre of the earth. We sell admission tickets to the national park at reception. There are 1800 free white bikes at the park that allow you to discover 5400 hectares of nature reserve. Within half an hour you will be in front of the entrance at Otterlo.

What could be better than exploring the surroundings on foot or by bike? Gelderse Vallei is an extremely suitable place for a walking or cycling holiday. With Landgoed Ruwinkel in Scherpenzeel as your base, you are right in the middle of Gelderse Valley. One day you can walk more in the province of Gelderland and the next day you can discover the eastern side of the province of Utrecht.

In short: a perfect place for a wonderful holiday of walking, cycling and day trips!

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park is known for its beautiful and varied natural areas. For example, you can take a walk on the Amerongse berg. At 69.2 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in the province of Utrecht. There is a special trail for the mountain bikers among us. Take a walk on the dunes near Soest. You will find the National Military Museum, several zoos, the Pyramid of Austerlitz, Huis Doorn and much more.... 

A white sandy beach in the middle of nature with pristine water. Just 10 kilometres from Landgoed Ruwinkel. Henschotermeer! Very famous all around. In summer, you can relax here on the beach or on the grass. You can park your car but it is also very easy to go by bike.

Walk across farmland and estates in the most beautiful places in Utrecht and Gelderland. Enjoy the tranquillity and discover the stories of the region through videos, sound clips and historical documents with this app. The walks are between 5 and 15 kilometres. By the way, all clog paths are signposted with small signs which, if you follow them, will automatically lead you back to your starting point.

Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked rolls, so start your day with the delicious rolls from Scherpenzeel baker Jan van Engelenhoven. These will be hung on your door if you place your order at reception the evening before, that's a nice way to wake up!

It is also possible to have this fantastic breakfast delivered to your accommodation, so you don't have to leave the house, in which case it is € 10.00 p.p.
